So, my imaginations were taking shape and I had to plan further to showcase my creations. Digital marketing was all in my mind. I discussed with few and started my own research on it. Since my Doctorate was all about online-marketing, it helped me to understand things in a better way.
There was so much positivity around me; everyone was ready to extend helping hands, but as we know, everyone has their own opinion about any subject, and no-one can assimilate my plans and thought process for my future journey. It gave me confidence and boost to be on my own; off-course I will be seeking help, in case of hurdles coming.
So, here a non-techie started a technical journey to develop and design her first ever online portal . I thread bared the various platforms and finally chose #wix to be my tool for a mammoth task ahead . Frankly speaking; the platform was conducive to me and came out to be a good choice in terms of creativity tools and settings. Though, I am still a learner and surely it will take much more time to be at par.
Now, I was acting like an owl to develop, design and manage. It took me days to turn my ideas into oriki.in . Trust me everyday was better and every moment is still a learning experience. Its like an ocean of pearls. Payment integration and product page was a major hurdle for the delay in launch. Thankfully #SparkInfosystems helped me to get through these anomalies.
our next target was reach to the environment. In today's scenario, nothing is better then social media to promote your creativity. There is plethora of net citizens to support you, just a click away. Oriki majorly choose #Instagram and #facebook with the page #orikibyreetika. Finally on linking of website and creation of content took a start.
Uff....at last after having roller coaster rides ""Oriki"" started its formal journey on 15th April, 2021. The whole process taught me many things. Started with Jewellery designer to website developer to social media manager to content creator to promoter to narrator and so on....... Now, there are number of roles, I am playing with Oriki. My family is my strength and they play a major role for the success of Oriki. Will be sharing some "saas-bahu and garam-masala" tale as an Indian lady in my forth-coming blog.
So Inspiring!
Good going Ritika proud to be associated with such creative person.God bless
Though I am not on Facebook and Instagram, but I am thrilled going through the screenshots you have shared here! I am sure the journey of starting Oriki must have not been a cake walk and I am proud of the experiences you have gone through to kickstart this! All my good wishes are with you Mrs Reetika, wish you many more laurels ahead..
